Our photographers keep moving on us and recently our current photographer moved to Hawaii, but she promised to be back often for long periods of time to shoot weddings and family photos. When I caught wind that she was going to be in town this October for a few weeks I instantly booked her. Once our date was locked down, she then gave me a link to photos that she took at the location she had in mind for us. For weeks I dreamed of our outfits. I kind of obsess about our clothes (since I secretively want to be a stylist/personal shopper) for family pictures since it is the one time of year that Ed and I also make ourselves presentable.
The day finally arrived and we met Jasmyn at the Wetlands and got to exploring with the kids. The weather was hotter than expected, but the kids were little troopers and the pictures exceeded every expectation I had:
(Their bond is so strong that we always call them the "real twins".)
(This is actually my fav family pic because it is us- never a dull moment. So classy, T.)
(I loveeee this pic because Was was trying to get Ev to follow Tenley with him like, "hey, c'mon sis!")
(This pic cracks me up...taking care of twins requires one tough Daddy!!)
(Fav pic of the three of them!!)
(Ugh. Love my girls to pieces!)
("Hey, you! I will melt your heart!")
("I'm going to be 4!!")
(This boy loves hats!)
(MY ROCK.)
(The sweetest little boy EVER.)
Jasmyn made this shoot such a blast and captured so many great memories that we'll cherish forever! Tenley and Wes especially had fun because they loved exploring by the streams. They could care less about the red ants crawling all over their legs, while Ev was a little more hesitant. She was a more cautious and delicate in all of her actions, as always, and stayed away from the water, unlike her daredevil siblings. Seeing pictures of my family together never gets old to me. These pictures make me smile ear-to-ear and just reminds me that nothing else matters besides the perfect smiling faces in these little rectangles!
(Thanks, Jasmyn- you rock, momma! Be sure you check out her work if you are in Vegas or Hawaii: http://www.jasmynmarie.com.)
