Until Next Time, Disneyland!

Our final day at Disneyland arrived and we took it easy- just doing the things we had to do. Tenley really wanted to take a ride on the Disney Railroad this time and we all thought it'd be fun so we headed to Disneyland first. There wasn't a line in front of the famous Mickey so we took advantage of that. The lady even said she was going to take a "magical" picture of the birthday girl and it turned out adorable:

The line for the Mickey pumpkin was quite short since they just opened so we hopped right in there, too:

After grabbing a quick bite to eat we headed to the train station and waited for the next train to arrive:

The Disney Railroad took us around the entire park and stopped several times to drop off and pick people up. It was fun to see the entire park from a different view point. Tenley really liked it (well, everything except the "scary dinosaurs") and they all loved yelling, "woo-woo, choo-choo!":

Once we were done in Disneyland we headed to California Adventure because we couldn't leave without riding 'California Screamin''- our favorite ride:

While we rode 'California Screamin'' the kids and Grammy ran into one of Wes' favorite character's- Donald Duck:

We also couldn't leave without riding a merry-go-round so we hit up 'King Triton's Carosel':

Last up on our things "to-do" was to meet Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Olaf (Wes' absolute fav). First, we made our way to Arendale to meet Elsa and Anna. Wes held Pop Pop's hand the entire time and I felt like I could hear that song, "people let me tell ya 'bout my best friend..." playing throughout the park. They are just the sweetest together:

We only had about 3 families in front of us to meet Elsa and Anna so it was perfect! Tenley loved all the attention since Ev was too shy (but loved when Anna tickled her with her braid) and Wes liked to just stare at them from a distance like a creeper:

After meeting Queen Elsa and Princess Anna we went across the street to meet Olaf. Ev wasn't having anything to do with him, but Tenley had a blast with him! She was tickling him; which made him "lose his butt" and kissing his nose. She had a ball with him, but Wes was too shy (he's really going to be kicking himself in the butt about this one!):

On our way out of the park we let the kids pick a treat so they could stay awake until we made it to the car:

Once the kids were strapped in their car seats they were asleep faster than we could say 'Mickey Mouse':

Ed and I had to stop at Chick-fil-A on the way home (DUH!); which is about 20 minutes from Disneyland and even though Ed went inside so we wouldn't wake anyone up, the twins both woke up. Luckily, Tenley slept really long and the twins were both so good since they were able to see the iPad we mounted on the headrest:

Our ride home went so smooth and the second I saw the city lights I literally started to go through withdrawals. This trip was a little different than other trips because it was challenging for me at times because the twins are at such a rough age now- always on the go! Ev wants to do nothing but walk so she got frustrated quite a bit and only wanted me to hold her. You just gotta shrug it off when you're in The Happiest Place on Earth with such amazing people, though. We are so lucky that my in-laws came and made Tenley's 4th birthday celebration so special. We had such an amazing time with them, as always, and we will never forget this trip! Until next time, Disneyland!
(Thanks for traveling with us and spoiling the kids so well, mom and dad! Love you guys!)
