Put on your ears, it's time for cheers!!
The time to celebrate Tenley's FIRST birthday had arrived (already) and invitations went out in the mail:
Tenley's Clubhouse was decked out with balloons:
She had a super cute wooden sign in the front yard, too:
Mommy even spent a week making a balloon wreath with at least 500 balloons:
I even made Tenley thee cutest Mickey Mouse banners...
...while Daddy went a little crazy in the balloon department:
We set up Tenley's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse patio furniture for the kiddos...
...and even decorated the backyard:
Mickey Mouse hung out by the pink lemonade and water:
While Minnie Mouse hung out by the fruit, spinach salad and 6 boxes of Rosati's pizza:
The treat table was covered with goodies...
...Tenley's amazing cake from Freed's Bakery:
...M&M's, twizzlers, goldfish crackers, and T's smash cake that Mommy baked:
...rice crispy treats made by Mommy and Grammy:
...Mickey and Minnie Mouse pops made by Mommy and Grammy:
...everyone's 'ears for cheers':
(I even added pink polka-dotted ribbon for all the chicks at the party!)
...party favors for all the lil' ones with Mickey's famous, "Thanks for stopping by!":
Before the party started I got a few pics with T before she ran off to play...
...then it was time for our guests to arrive:
...Tenley was quickly fascinated by all of her gifts:
...and wanted to show everyone the ah-mazing kitchen that Daddy bought her:
...she chomped on Daddy's pizza:
...she hung out with her besties:
...then it was time for the Minnie Mouse pull sting pinata:
...and the littlest one of all picked the winning string!
Then it was time to open gifts:
(Playing peek-a-boo with the blanket Grammy made for the Birthday Girl!)
Thanks again everyone!!
Last, but certainly not least... it was time to SMASH THE CAKE!!
...lets just say, she got a lil' messy!! :)
(Look at that full belly!)
After the party winded down a bit (and Tenley was on a sugar high), Tenley decided to enjoy some of her new toys:
Thanks to everyone who came to Tenley's birthday party and celebrated with us! We're beyond blessed to have such amazing family and friends in our life that made her party SO much fun. You all made Tenley's first birthday celebration perfect (the only thing missing were the rest of our family and friends from Ohio, but your presence was felt with all of your phone calls, cards and gracious gifts). Tenley had so much fun and was running around playing with her best friends. Seeing her enjoy her party made cutting out 58 Mickey Mouse heads all the preparation worth it. I really don't know how I could possibly top this next year, but I will definitely try my best!
Happy First Birthday, Tenley Bear!!
