It's that time of year again... jammy jam time:
Tenley sure does love her jammy jams and she loves to play in her princess fort, too:
We've made some major progress this week with bath time... T used to love bath time- she would sit in her bath seat and play with her toys for hours (if we let her), but when she started walking and realized she could get out of it she refused to sit in the tub as if she were scared the tub were going to eat her cute self up or something. After almost a month of her standing in the tub while screaming and walking back and forth, T finally isn't terrified of sitting in the bath tub! She sits and plays in the tub now (but still occasionally refuses to sit); which makes bath time fun again:
She has been a total cuddle monster (thanks to the blanket Grandma D made her- she loves to snuggle in it and play with the strings):
The election gave Tenley so much anxiety that she signed for milk the entire time we watched CNN...
...this is perfect for Tenley:
We went to the Ugg store at Caesar's to buy T her first pair of Uggs with a gift card from Grandma Cathy...
...T was fascinated with the fountains:
The next morning she had her 12 month wellness check where I discovered that T must've went through a massive growth spurt because she is now 32 inches tall. A whole inch and a half longer since her birthday! After Dr. King looked at Tenley she said that my breast milk must be "liquid gold" (as if I didn't already know that) because Tenley was so healthy and had thee most beautiful ears that she's ever seen. So all the milkies that she's signing for must me helping. She also got 2 shots (MMR and Chickenpox) and I've never seen Tenley cry so bad after shots before- it was horrible. Maybe since she is getting older? I don't know, but it broke my heart to hear her scream like that. The only thing that cheered her up (besides me) was playing with Piglet and her Uggs in the car:
She is obsessed with her Uggs and loves the sound they make when she walks in them:
(Thanks Grandma Cathy!!)
Per usual, we FaceTimed with Grandma and Grandpa D Friday afternoon:
We bought T a winter coat to brave the Lake Las Vegas Beer Walk and she loved it:
We never ended up making it to the beer walk because some munch decided she was going to go into hibernation and wouldn't even let us wake her up. (I'm thinking she was in such a deed sleep due to the shots?) She ended up waking up from her nap around 3:30 and our friends said the weather was miserable so we got some Panera and stayed inside where it was nice and toasty. Tenley tried their Mac N Cheese for the first time and hated it! I was heart broken because it is my favorite. She just played with it and made a mess:
After that, we "bowled":
(I just love days that turn into lazy, fun days with my lil' fam that I'll never forgot. We were all laughing so hard that our stomachs hurt. I just love my munch and hubs- they're so much fun!)
In celebration of the cold weather we went shopping for Christmas lights and Tenley wanted to buy everything...
...while shopping Tenley spotted this gem, pointed and said, "OOOOOHHHH" so yeah, we now own this:
I always wanted a snow globe for Christmas time and a Mickey Mouse one is just an extra bonus! Our front yard will have "continuous snow swirl", say wha?! SOOO STOKEDD!!!! Stay tuned for a picture of the house decorated!
I made homemade pasta sauce on Sunday and Tenley chowed down:
In other news, we have a thief in our house and she likes to hide her goods in her fridge:
(Consider this your warning... check Tenley's fridge before you leave our house!!)
Until next week! :)
