Bump Watch: 32 Weeks

How far along? 32 weeks 4 days, but who's counting, right?
Wedding rings on or off? On, but quite snug at night.
Stretch marks? Not any new ones.
Maternity clothes?  See the above picture? Well, that's pretty much what you'll find me in- maternity top and yoga pants. Comfort is key these days.
Sleep: It just keeps getting worse... Laying on either side terrifies me because I feel as though I'm squishing someone. To make matters worse, I haven't been able to breathe out of my nose for weeks and laying down for more than 10 minutes makes me so out of breath that I get light headed and have to sit up or walk around to try to get them in a more comfortable position for me. So yeah, sleep is pretty much non-existent these days.
Movement:  Yes! The movements are so strong (since space is limited) that if one decides to move their whole body I will almost pee myself or jump in pain.
Food cravings: No real cravings this week.
Symptoms:  Dry nose, bloody nose, round ligament pain, shortness of breathe and the typical exhaustion.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  The light headed feeling I've been getting at night makes me queasy.
Labor Signs:  Nearly 2 weeks ago I was having such bad contractions that I had to go in the office right away for monitoring. The monitoring showed that I was having contractions every 2-5 minutes and they were so intense (no longer just Braxton Hicks). Since I was having more contractions then my doc would like at this stage they did an ultrasound to test movement and the babies did great. Then, they did a vaginal exam to see if I was dilating. My cervix was dilated a fingertip, but "completely closed" beyond that; which is normal. My doctor prescribed me Procardia to take every 6 hours, as needed, to reduce the intensity of the contractions. It worked quite well, but then the contractions were so intense that it didn't do anything. Good news is that I've been contraction free for 4 whole days and feeling great!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy and anxious.
Best moment this week:  When our sonographer showed us Ev's face in 4D. She looks exactly like Tenley and has the chunkiest cheeks and kissable pouty lips. Wes had his head turned in so we didn't get to see his face, but I'm thinking he'll look just like his Daddy...handsome!
Worst moment of the week: Hmmmm...I haven't really had a bad moment this week. Maybe when we ran out of Breaking Bad episodes on Netflix!
Looking forward to:  Our next ultrasound and monitoring session Friday morning! I seriously can not get enough of seeing them both move around on the ultrasound machine. I still can't believe that I have 2 babies in my belly...crazy!
Baby Update: Both babies are doing great and gaining weight like there is no tomorrow. Ev now weighs 4lbs 9oz and Wes now weighs 4lbs 11oz. I asked my doc if their size was going to be an issue in a few weeks since they're so big. Like, are they going to run out of room? And he said, "Hey, look at octomom! They'll find more room." Awesome. I want them to keep developing, but my body is saying "enough with trying to be in the Guinness Book of Records for the biggest twins!" The babies did good on monitoring, too. Our nurse had to buzz Ev to wake her up so they could track her heart rate. I'm having Braxton Hicks contractions every 3-5 minutes, but I can hardly even feel those. Braxton Hicks are nothing compared to what I was experiencing 2 weeks ago so I'll take those over actual contractions any day! The doc said that the Braxton Hicks will continue to get more frequent; which is fine as long as they're not accompanied with blood. The only real disheartening news we got was that the babies flipped again and are now both breech. My doctor scheduled a c-section in addition to my induction just in case they are stubborn and don't turn head down again. I'm trying not to worry about it and just continue to pray that they flip and stay head down. So send some extra prayers for that, too!

This pregnancy is flying by and I can't believe we are already having twice-a-week appointments. I'm hanging in there so I say, bring it on!
