In the middle of the night, Santa came down our Chimney and spoiled Tenley for being such a good girl all year. He even took time out of his busy schedule to sample each one of T's favorite cookies- M&M cookies:
When she woke up she ran out into the living room with excitement:
She immediately noticed two big gifts from Santa- her very own table and chairs and the Little People musical princess castle:
She was so obsessed with her table and chairs that she insisted on carrying each present to her table to open:
It wasn't long before she made Pearl help her open presents:
Then, she had to sit and go through all of her new toys, again:
Finally, she gave Pearl her toy and some lovin':
After she opened all of her presents, we cuddled on the couch and played with some of her new Toys from Santa:
Everyone was exhausted after our busy morning of playing with every new gift so we all crashed while watching T's latest obsession- Cinderella:
After nap time, we decided our matching Christmas jammies were just too comfy not to wear all day so Christmas Day turned into Pajama Day. We cooked my great-grandma Rachel/Aunt Julie's homemade wedding soup, made pasta and meatballs and had my grandma Sophie's famous homemade pierogies; which were all so delicious. Tenley made Daddy sit at her new table with her, while I used my belly as a table:
After dinner, Tenley and Daddy played with her new wooden blocks:
Per tradition, we attempted to take a family photo in our matching Christmas jammies; which was interesting without someone to take it or a tripod (Santa, I'd like one for next year, please!). After several adjustments of the camera stacked up on cushions, we finally got a good picture for 2013:

Although this Christmas didn't feel like Christmas because the whole time I kept thinking, "ouch, ouch, ouch!" and "what if I go into labor today?" or "ok, presents are opened...is it too soon to take all of the Christmas decorations down so we can get ready for the babies?" There was so much on our minds this year and the anticipation is killing us (mostly me, though). Despite how crappy I felt and everything else on our minds, we still had a phenomenal Christmas- our last Christmas with one child! God has blessed us with so much this year and we can NOT wait to see what he has in store for us next year!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
