How far along? 35 weeks 2 days...almost to my goal of 36 weeks!!
Wedding rings on or off? Sadly, they are off. Some days they fit and others I don't even risk it.
Stretch marks? Yes, one on each of my hips. They're quite small though, smaller than an inch long. BOOOO for battle wounds!!
Maternity clothes? If by maternity clothes you mean yoga pants and Ed's shirts, then yes- I'm rockin' the hell out of maternity clothes.
Sleep: Just seeing the word 'sleep' makes my blood boil. Reason being because it takes forever for me to fall asleep, then it seems like it's time to wake up already! Ev has her butt wedged in my pelvis and is leaning on my left pelvic bone, thus causing terrible restless leg syndrome. The most frustrating thing about trying to sleep is my lack of being able to breathe. My seriously swollen sinuses make it impossible to breathe. Sleeping an inch away from the humidifier and having a Breathe Right strip on my nose has helped a bit in the last week. Let's hope it keeps getting better so I can rest up before these babes arrive.
Movement: Yes, but not as much as I used to feel since they're running out of room. Now every movement causes pain because their either pushed against something or it feels like they're going to push through something.
Food cravings: None really, but the homemade Christmas cookies my mother-in-law sent me are definitely satisfying my sweet tooth!
Symptoms: Congestion, exhaustion, sausage toes, pelvic cracking every time I move, peeing every 5 minutes, not being able to walk some days and so much more.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Labor Signs: Yes, contractions like you wouldn't believe.
Happy or Moody most of the time: So emotional!! Literally, everything makes me cry. Actually, I've been crying so hard that it feels like I'm going to suffocate. Poor Ed has been such a trooper dealing with me, especially when I say, "you just don't understand what I'm going through and I don't think you care!" Poor guy. Sorry, Ed!
Best moment this week: Watching Wes on the ultrasound on Tuesday. He is usually so shy and hides the entire time, but the ultrasound tech had me lay on my side and I was able to see his sweet little face for the first time in what seemed like forever. He was breathing like a champ and just seemed so happy. It totally made me cry, obvi. Then little Ev had her hands on her head, which were also resting on Wes' head. The little stinkers are still breech/breech, but it is so cute to see the bond they already have and how they always lay with their heads together (conspiring against me, I'm sure), always pushing on the dividing membrane to be as close as possible.
Worst moment of the week: Waking up a 3 am on Saturday and not being able go back to sleep because I was in so much pain. It's like my body was saying, "Welcome to week 35!", while evil laughing.
Looking forward to: Holding my babiessssss!!!! I'm also looking forward to not being pregnant anymore (selfish me, I know) and drinking a boat load of coffee!! Fingers crossed I get the Keurig Rivo cappuccino maker as a push present!
Baby Update: The babies are doing so great! During my ultrasound on Friday both babes were practice breathing like superstars; which was the coolest thing to see. Their little bellies were moving up and down so fast. I'm hoping that means their little lungs are developing well. My fluid was good and the babes were moving around really well; which meant they both scored an 8/8. Seeing them move and breathe like real babies really made it set in with me and I had to fight back tears. I'm beyond ready to cuddle these babies and smother them with kisses!!
Countdown: 16 more days!!
