Weekly Update

Linds and Isla came over Monday morning to hang out a.k.a. eat blueberry muffins. The sugar turned the girls into total goofballs:

Tenley did not want to nap after our play date so I put her in her room to settle herself down and I fell asleep while watching her on the monitor. I woke up an hour later and found her passed out in her bed watching Monsters, Inc.. I went in, took her iPad and she continued to sleep for another hour:

That night, Daddy and T cleaned the house for me:

Karina and the girls came over Tuesday morning to watch T, while I went to the doctors. The girls had fun building forts with the couch pillows and watching TV:

I got to see both babies on the ultrasound and they got all good scores on their tests:

We watched the Venturino girls for an hour and Tenley helped feed Alena:

When we were done babysitting, we met the Rices at Ethel M's to see the Cactus Garden decorated for Christmas. The girls loved the lights and Tenley loved pulling Isla all over to make sure she saw all the lights. We had a blast up until Tenley ventured into the 'No Climbing' zone and got covered in little cactus needles. We took her into the M&M store to see what we were dealing with, but there was nothing we could do without tweezers so we headed to the car. On our way to the car we noticed sticky fingers Tenley stole a M&M magnet. She is such a crazy bird:
(34 weeks 3 days)

We FaceTimed with the Robbins:

Tenley made Pearl cuddle with her:

We babysat the Venturino girls again and had so much fun pretending to already be a family of 5:

Tenley cuddled up for a nap on Thursday and I enjoyed every second of it:

Linds watched Tenley Friday morning, while I went to the doctors and T insisted on bringing Isla her half-opened Christmas present:

Tenley fell asleep in her bed again, but wanted mommy after 45 minutes. She is such a cuddle bug:

My sweet mother-in-law made us an entire box full of Christmas cookies! Talk about a great package to receive in the mail:

(Thanks Mom!!)

We also received a package from the Georges with these adorable owl hats for the kiddos. Tenley didn't quite understand that the face went in the front, but it still looked super cute:

(Thanks guys!!)

Uncle Mike sent Tenley a Christmas card and stockings for the whole fam:
(Thanks, Mike!!)

I hit the 35 week mark in my pregnancy! Woo-hoo!

I was so excited for the jam packed Saturday I planned for us...Tenley's last gymnastics class of the term, The Bellagio Conservatory, making the Mickey and Minnie gingerbread house that Tenley picked out and going to The Magical Forrest with the Rices. Fun, right? Well, I couldn't fall asleep Friday night and I ended up going to bed around 1am and woke up at 3am in such pain that I couldn't fall back to sleep or even move. When everyone else finally woke up around 9am I couldn't walk anywhere without tearing up and needing Ed to escort me. There went my fun filled day! Ed took Tenley to her gymnastics class, while I stayed home to rest:

After gymnastics, Tenley came home and told Pearl all about it:

Later that night, we made the gingerbread house; which was so much fun! Tenley really got into it this year and was cracking us up. She kept eating all the icing, sucking on the candy and decorating the house with her slobber filled candies:

My nail girl came over Sunday morning to paint my nails a neutral color incase I happened to go into labor in the next 2 weeks:

Since I was feeling a little bit better, we headed to the Bellagio to see their Winter Conservatory. This was the first year that they changed it up since we've lived here and Tenley absolutely loved it. They had a snow tunnel and 3 trains going around their main tree. Tenley was obsessed with watching the trains and I taught her how to pull her hand and say "choo-choo" when the trains went past; it was so cute. Next year we'll for sure have a train under our tree! This was definitely her favorite so far:

Although I hardly did any walking, my feet were so swollen when we got home so Tenley and I watched the Steelers defeat Green Bay, while Ed started to prepare Christmas Dinner:

Next week is Christmas!! Until then, friends!! :)
