Weekly Update

During Christmas week, my Doc's office was only open on Monday and Friday so I made my appointments at 8:30 so I could avoid 3 hour appointments. In the prior weeks I thought this was genius, but after Tenley has been sleeping until at least 8:30 I realized that having to wake her at 6:40 to bring her to her second home (The Rices) before my appointment was the exact opposite of genius. She was passed out Monday morning and looked too peaceful:

Luckily, she was happy and cuddly when I woke her up and got excited when I told her she was going to play with Isla. The girls played with the Christmas tree and Tenley got to open her Christmas gifts from Isla:

(Thanks guys!!)

Everything went well at the Doc's and I was in and out in 45 minutes! Quickest appointment so far!

When Ed got home from work, Tenley helped him make potatoes for our homemade pierogies:

Tenley wore her "Got pierogi?" shirt from great-grammy and gave the potatoes a big thumbs up:

We made our way to one of our favorite light-seeing destinations- Quiver Point. It never disappoints and totally gave us some ideas for next year:

(I loved these hanging bulbs!)

We came home to a package by the front door; which always makes me giddy with excitement. Tenley got a new puzzle from her friend, Makenna, and Cassie and John sent us this adorable frame for the twins:

(Thanks guys!!)

Tenley woke up sick on Christmas Eve (runny nose and cough)...total bummer. Needless to say, Ed lost his "big helper" and had to finish the pierogies by himself. I must say, they turned out amazing and even grammy Sophie was proud of him:

That night, T opened her one traditional gift- Christmas jammies to match mommy, daddy and Pearl:

After opening her present, we made our way to our other favorite light-seeing destination- the houses off of Pacific:

We celebrated Christmas in our matching jammies.

Tenley woke up at 5:30am on Thursday and her cough was much worse. I could hear a rattle in her chest when she'd breathe and she was wheezing and short of breath. Since her Doc was closed for the Holiday still, we took it easy at home and she enjoyed playing with her new toys:

Since T wasn't feeling good, Ed left work for a few hours to come to my appointment so he could watch Tenley and prevent her from ripping off all the monitoring equipment. During my ultrasound Ev showed off her pouty lips:
(Oh how I wish I could smother her with kisses!)

Best thing about the appointment was finding out that Wes is now vertex (head down)!! Ev is the one who needs to be head down since she'll arrive first, but this gave me hope that it can still happen. Come on Evie!!

Tenley passed out in her bed after my appointment (see...going to the Doctors is exhausting!):

When Ed got home from work he took T to see the pediatrcian so we could get her better before the twins arrive. Turns out she has fluid in her lungs and was indeed short of breath. They gave us a prescription for medication and a nebulizer. Fingers crossed that it helps!

We FaceTimed with Chels Saturday morning and I got this amazing snapshot. I look at it when I need a good laugh:

We relaxed on the couch and played with Pearl:

My belly can pretty much be classified as its own continent these days; which makes for some pretty funny movements:

After much decision, my amazing, caring, loving mother-in-law decided to come to Vegas so we could all be at ease if I do happen to go into labor early. I was beyond excited to see her at the airport Saturday night and am sooo thankful for her! Obviously, Tenley was thrilled to see Grammy, too!

Ev got a package of adorable clothes from the Robbins and Tenley insisted on testing them out on Pearl:
(Thanks guys!!)

I gave T her breathing treatment during nap time; which was much easier:

Grammy bought T a giant Tinkerbell coloring book; which was a big hit with everyone. Tenley decided to take a break to stack blocks with Grammy, while Ed was a little obsessed with coloring:

After stacking blocks, Tenley attempted to push the babies out:

Until next week! :)
