"Enjoy Your Engagement"

When Eddie and I first got engaged everyone's advice was to "enjoy it". For the PAST TWO FRICKIN' YEARS! longest time I thought we were. We were planning everything ahead of time to reduce our amount of stress at the end and taking our plans day-by-day. I thought we were really enjoying our time as an engaged couple, until this week. This week Eddie has been super sweet to me; which makes me even more excited about marrying him!

Exhibit A:

We went to the Mall on Sunday so that I could buy a white dress for my Bachelorette party and he kept complimenting me and hugging me. It was so sweet! I got suspicious...

Kelli: "What's wrong with you?"
Eddie: "Nothing! Why?"
Kelli: "Are you getting excited to marry me or something?"
Eddie: [he just pulled me closer and gave me a big hug]

Exhibit B:

We went to order a cake for our rehearsal dinner; which by the way is a two-tier Nothing Bundt Cake (marble and red velvet). When we were leaving he was walking faster than me and I was confused. Where's the fire? Then he went to the passenger door and opened the door for me. I was in shock.

Exhibit C:

Back rubs, back rubs, and more back rubs! He has given me a back rub almost every night this week. It has obviously been an amazing week for me.

These past few weeks I have enjoyed being engaged so much. We've been having so much fun together and with our friends. We've been going on dates and it's been really nice. If this is how it feels to be engaged, I can't wait to be married! :)

Love you, Ed!

6 YEARS OLD!!

(Note: Pearl is a hard-core Cavs fan, like her mommy and daddy)

My precious Pearl turned 6 years old this Sunday (May 9th). Eddie and I spent the whole day spoiling her,
giving her lots of love, and watching the Cavs!

Happy Birthday Pearl!

Gracie's Baby Shower

Courtney and Isaac's baby shower for Grace was this Saturday as well. Eddie and I were so excited to go shopping for baby Gracie. We went to Babies R Us and decided to go with a "Gracie's Bathtime Goodies" theme. We bought this spa tub for Grace that has this motor in it that creates bubbles like a jacuzzi... awesome, right?! Then we bought a pink basket and filled it with bath time essentials for Grace, such as, finger puppets, sticky numbers and letters, wash cloths, towels, body wash, etc. It turned out really cute!

We also found this really cute pacifier
that said "Grace" on it so we used it to wrap the tub.

The weather was beautiful and Courtney's  family had it set up so pretty! Court's mom, Lisa, had the tables set up nicely with a variety of flowers on each table.

For desert they had cupcakes from the Cupcakery, tarts from Court's Dad and Court's sister, Geni, is in culinary school and
made an amazing cake for the shower.

It's was such a great shower and I think Courtney and Isaac
got almost everything they needed, besides Grace!
So hurry up and get here already Gracie-lou! :)

Race For The Cure

My biggest dislike: CANCER! Yuck... I hate it. I took part in the Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure this Saturday and I am so happy that I did it. Kasie and I got up bright and early (6am) so we could make it to the race on time. Next year, we plan on doing the race, but running next time. Eddie's cousin, Shirley, was just diagnosed with breast cancer so I thought it would be a great time to start getting involved with this charity. Not only did I do the 5k walk for Shirley, but I did it for my Mom, Dad and Grandma Betty. Here's to finding a cure!

Bethany's Bridal Shower

My friend, Bethany, is getting married on July 10th in Newport Beach, California. Her bridal show was April 24, 2010 and it was beautiful. Every detail was thought out, from the cake and cupcakes to the food and drinks. I'm so happy for Bethany and can't wait for her wedding!
