Crazy Good Time

The day finally arrived...Francesca is a GERFY

All of the planning lead to this day, this final day, this ONE day. Francesca was worrying all week about the weather since they were predicting 30mph winds and a 30% chance of rain, but not even Mother Nature could rain on their parade because we were all positive that their day was going to be perfect.

The girls stayed with Frannie at the Vdara hotel the night before and I joined them in the morning for all the pre-wedding pampering fun:

Matt surprised Frannie with a wedding gift that she opened right before getting dressed- beautiful pearl earrings and a matching bracelet. He also wrote her a note and reminded her not to worry about the weather because she'd be beautiful no matter what. Needless to say, it started the waterworks:

After that, everyone got dressed and we all oohed and awed as the photographer took photos of our stunning friend:

Soon enough it was time to be picked up by the limo. I sat by Gracie and she was so excited about driving in a limo. She said to me, "I'm so excited to be in a limo and not wear seat belts!" Kids are so funny, but especially her:

We already took our pictures at Vdara, so when we arrived at Stallion Mountain Golf Course the only thing left to do before the walk down the aisle was to relax, pop some champs and take selfies (duh!):

It was finally time for the ceremony and the weather was cooperating. The ceremony only had a few gusts of wind, but nothing too bad. Francesca's grandpa married her and Matt; which made it that much more special (and emotional). Every word that came out of his mouth had so much meaning behind it and their vows were so powerful. I was an utter mess the entire time. I feel bad for the family in the front row who had to listen to me sniffle the entire time (sorry!). I honestly don't think it could've been any more beautiful:

After pictures of the wedding party, I got to see my handsome hubby all dressed up (even rockin' a tie) and I must say he cleans up SO nicely:

(Please don't don't mind the number of selfies...we don't get out much. Plus, I totally had to document Ed's studly outfit.)

Once Frannie and Matt were done taking their pictures on the golf course they were introduced and had us all laughing and crying with speeches, slideshows, dances, cake-cutting, etc.:

After all the traditional wedding activities it was time to cut loose and par-tay:

(SHOUT!)

Some words that come to mind when describing the Gerfy wedding are: emotional, beautiful, awesome, fun, PERFECT... I mean, I could go on forever. It was just a crazy good time. If their wedding is a reflection of who they are as a couple, I think they will be a-okay because it was simply perfect! I am so honored to have been apart of Francesca and Matt's wedding. I truly believe that they are meant for each other and I couldn't be happier for them (and the beautiful babies that they'll make). Love you guys!!

Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Gerfy!!
