Weekly Update

I whipped up this delicious dinner on Monday:
(Skinless salmon from Fresh & Easy- put in pan with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with pepper and garlic salt, then coat with Buitoni's 'Pesto with Basil' mix and cook until flaky...melts in your mouth!)

...even Eddie, who hates Salmon, loved it! Tenley ate hers, ours, and was begging for more:

Tenley looked like an angel while sleeping:

...we played outside in our PJs:

...I got my hair cut for the first time in almost a year so I decided to do something different- chopped off 6 inches and got bangs:

...we went to The District for dinner and let T run around and do some landscaping:

Tenley was being super cuddly and I loved it:

...Ed got a surprise call from school saying class was cancelled. (YAY!!!!) Tenley was so excited that she insisted on sitting next to him at dinner like a big girl:

...she even smothered him with kisses:

(Be still my heart...)

We played in the backyard:

...and snuggled on the couch:

Tenley played fetch with Pearl and played with her chalk outside:

...baby girl used my hair to put herself to sleep (it's her security blanket) and woke up with some wicked bed head:

We drove past the MGM on our way to the new Lied Discovery Children's Museum on Saturday and Tenley would not stop growling at the tiger. Daddy also got to show her the club he helped build- Hakkasan:

...we got to the museum when it opened and started having fun right away:

...Tenley's favorite thing was the water room and got soaked while having a ball:

(The ceiling is this cool contraption that returns all the balls that the kids put in the water to a bin full of balls...so neat!!)

...Tenley and Daddy lifted a car off the ground:

...T played Dr. Tenley at the Vetinary Clinic (and did not want to leave the kitten):

...she played Construction Worker (just like Daddy) and built a masterpiece:

...she went grocery shopping at Smith's and only picked out ice cream and ice cream bars:

...she played Air Traffic Controller:

...she had fun with the melted crayons in the black room:

...Daddy bought Tenley Bear her very own stuffed bear and baby girl would not put him down:

...we had such a blast at the museum. We could've spent the entire day there so it's a good thing we bought a membership. Now we could go all the time!

...on our way home a big piece of plywood flew into the front of my car. When we got home we noticed this surprise:
(Ugh, looks like I know what I'm getting for Easter...)

...Tenley took a nap with Smokey:

...Sam was in town from Seattle so Tenley Bear and I went to visit Sam and her momma at The District. T was super excited to see them:

(Thanks for the adorable gifts you two!! Miss you already!)

...Daddy taught T how to growl like a bear:

Tenley and Daddy slept in on Sunday:

...T showed Daddy how to brush his teeth properly:

...I made this super yummy taco pizza:
(All you have to do is buy pizza crust, slather it with Catalina dressing (or salsa) and add browned beef or turkey, mexican cheese, sliced tomatoes and sliced olives. Put in oven for 12 minutes on 350. Garnish with lettuce and viola! Easy peasy and yummy!)

Until next week! :)
