Inner Cowgirls

Linds and I took the girls for a fun morning at J R Ponies:

First, we took the girls to see the ponies so they could let their inner cowgirls out. My fearless daughter walked right up to the ponies and wanted to go for a ride right away. She loved Dolly and kept saying "again" every time the ride was over:

Little Isla was a bit more timid and just liked looking at the ponies:

Next, we went to pet the bunnies and the girls absolutely loved the bunny. Every time this little boy tried to touch the bunny Tenley would push his hand away and yell, "NO!". She kept trying to squeeze it and would only share the bunny with her bestie:

We took a break from the animals for a little while the girls played in the playhouses and climbed all over these adorable little benches:

Next up, we played in the goat area:

One of those suckers snuck out after me and I had to wrangle that stinky little booger in a corner until one of the workers came to get it:

We also saw lamas (my fav), turkeys, crazy lookin' chickens and desert tortoises:

It was so much fun to see the excitement in the girl's faces every time a animal came near them. We all had such a blast and we're so lucky to have such great girlfriends in our lives!

Weekly Update

Tenley has been showing me signs that she is going to be a great big sister. Maybe she'll be able to help change the twin's diapers?

Tenley drove us to the park to meet Linds and Isla:

We played outside while Ed was at school:

We met Karina, Sofia and Alena at Grouchy John's for coffee before heading to the park:

Since we finished painting the twins' nursery, Daddy and Tenley put the cribs together:

(Thanks for the cribs Grammy and Pop-Pop!!)

We FaceTimed my in-laws to show them the cribs and Grammy explained to Tenley that there were two cribs for the two new babies. Her favorite word is now "TWOOOO":
(LOVE how she says it!!)

Ed is currently working at a new job site- The Linq. It's going to have outdoor retail, dining, Brooklyn Bowl (the job Ed is at), and the world's tallest observation wheel (550 feet high). Whenever we look at the wheel from Henderson it doesn't seem too tall, but Ed took this picture while leaving work and I can't wait to take Tenley on it:

We went to Pottery Barn Kids to buy the twins new bedding, since I changed my mind again. We also ordered the chair for the nursery and I can't wait for it to be delivered. While we were there I saw this super cute construction themed room; which got me excited about decorating Wes' room when he actually has his own room:
(I'm totally buying T the bear pillow because she needs it, right?)

Baby bear got 1 of her 2 year old molars and is working on the other three. She has been a bit of a handful due to the pain and has been clutching onto her bubbas, frozen yogurt and my hair:

Since she was being such a crab, I took her to the park while Ed was at school so she could blow off some steam:

I have been craving Oreos (everyday) and was so excited when I saw that Target had the Halloween Oreos. There is just something about the orange frosting that makes them 10x better:

Pearl cuddled on my baby bump:

We took Tenley to Sunset Park Saturday morning and she insisted on bringing Pearl. She kept saying, "a purr, a purr". She just loves her doggie:

I'm officially 22 weeks pregnant:

When we got home from the park Tenley took her Benz for a cruise and surprised us with how much better at driving she is:

All that fun turned her into such a cuddly bear and I smothered her with kisses:

(She loves her brother and sister so much already!!)

Tenley had her first Oreo and became an instant fanatic, just like her Mommy:

Daddy and T played on her swing set before bed time:

We went to Acacia Park Sunday morning and the weather was out of this world. I was freezing in the shade; which is crazy since it was in the 80's- it was perfection! Tenley had a blast walking around looking for bunnies and loved the hundreds of chipmunks by the bridge:

I got this adorable video of my sweet baby Elle telling her mommy how much she missed us:
(Miss you, Elle Bell!!!!)

We went to the Venturinos for a Dexter farewell party. They cooked us thee yummiest dinner and I enjoyed rocking my sweet little Alena to sleep:

After the party, we came home and put Tenley to sleep so we could watch Dexter without any interruptions. We're beyond sad that our favorite show is over. I'm going to miss Dex and Deb. Bye, bye best show EVER:
(Maybe we should name the twins Dexter and Deborah instead?!)

Until next week! :)
