My Remedy

My life has been completely chaotic unrecognizable recently and frankly it's exhausting.

Ed's shit box of a car broke down a month ago and he didn't get a replacement because well... cars are ridiculously expensive! Who wants to put down $5,000 just to have a payment of over $300?! Come on people.

Anyways, during the span of no car phase Ed got a new job and I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off - driving to work, leaving to bring him to work, going back to work myself, getting off, then picking him up at night - needless to say, I'm exhausted and could use a vacation. To top it off he works on the weekends so I've been feeling extremely lonely and like a SINGLE women (not a great feeling for a married chick). Ed works ALLLLLLLL day on Saturday and Sunday (my days off) so I feel like I hardly see him anymore and it blows.

Luckily, we got out last weekend and enjoyed time with our friends! We went to PT's to watch some basketball, then headed to Remedies. I must say, I definitely needed some time to just chill and laugh a lot and these people were definitely my remedy for the blues.

Thank goodness for friends that keep you sane!

Eight Years Later

03-15-03

March 15th, 2003 is the day that Eddie asked me to be his girlfriend... eight years later I am his wife and could not be any happier. We are truly blessed to have such an unbreakable bond. I am so excited for what our future holds.

Love you, Ed! <3

Happy Birthday, Court!

This past Saturday was Courtney's birthday, Eddie and I went to Toys R Us to buy Courtney the Hedbandz (for adults) game since she loves board games. While we were there Ed managed to goof off and be a kid again:

On Saturday, we went to her mom's house to celebrate her birthday:

It was a sunny day filled with laughter, gifts, a million hot dogs, ice cream cake and lots of candles... I'm pretty sure she had a great 25th birthday!

Courtney is such an awesome friend and I am  so grateful to have become friends with her almost 6 years ago. I think of her as my sister and I know we will be friends when we are 85 years old with rollers in our hair. I don't know what I would do without her in my life.

Happy Birthday, Court!

Things That Make Me Happy...

Going to see funny HIL-AR-IOUS movies with great friends:
A must see!!
R. O. C. K. in the U. S. A.

While chomping on my favorite sweets - Sno Caps!!
(which tasted extra good since
I haven't had anything sweet since Christmas)
Every now and then you have to splurge... right?!

Finding this Sno Cap Cookie Recipe!!
(Now, I'm feeling like a total fatty with this blog post... wahhh!!)

Getting picture texts from my family in Ohio:
That's Dee at my Grammy's Oscar party!!
I soooo missed out on that party.
(Keep the pics coming Aunt Donna)

Catching up with friends you haven't seen in awhile.

Receiving cards from your best friends that assure you
that you are going to be great at whatever your future holds.

These are some of the small things that made me happy this week.
I hope your week was filled with happy little things as well.
REMEMBER: It's the small things that count! :)

Bring on the weekend!
