Weekly Update

My friend tagged me in this and it made me giggle because it is so true for moms of twins (or with any form of multiple tiny humans):

All three kids were sick on Monday; which meant Tenley stayed home from school and got to hang with Ev and Wes:

The kids weren't feeling any better on Tuesday. They could hardly breathe and napped so sweetly together for about 30 minutes before Ev's coughing woke them up:

Despite being so stuffy the twins stayed their fun-loving selves. Nothing can stop them from dancing when they hear the Disney music on their DisneyLand Little People castle:

Wes' new thing is climbing onto the dining room chairs and he gets so proud of himself when I yell at him, too:

The kids were absolutely stir crazy so we went outside for a bit and the kids were so excited to get out of the house! Tenley loves Halloween and insisted on drawing "spooky art" on the walls:

You'd think all the fresh air would've tired everyone out, but the twins could not fall asleep! While Tenley "relaxed" in her room, the twins and I cuddled on the couch:

After much begging, Tenley was finally well enough to go back to school on Friday. She was so excited to tell me about her day and show me her frog that she made:

Tenley and I went to pick up Pearl from the groomers and she made Pearl sit on her lap the entire way home:

The kids got some goodies from Grammy and Pop-Pop on Friday and Wes was so excited about his new Ninja Turtle:
(Thanks Grammy and Pop Pop! Love you!!)

Tenley had dance on Saturday and she listened much better this week. She also got a Halloween treat bag from her bestie:

We spent Saturday being super lazy since the twins weren't doing much better. The kids had so much fun coloring their face masks that their great Aunt Julie sent them:

(Thanks Aunt Jul!! The kids loved these! We love you!)

The twins hid behind their Indian masks before breakfast:

The babes looked so cute in their Steelers gear Sunday morning, while T dressed herself for Sofia's mermaid party later in the day:

Wes was so chill and loved watching the game with us (GO STEELERS!!):

That afternoon Tenley and I headed to Sofia's 4th birthday party while Ed stayed home with the twins. Tenley made sure Sofia opened her gifts as soon as we walked in the door and Sofia loved them so it was a great success! We ate Karina's delicious sugar cookies and the kids loved the visit Sofia got from Princess Ariel. We had such a blast celebrating Sofia and I can not believe that little peanut is already 4

(Tenley was mad at Sofia because she refused to take a picture with her. Baby does what baby wants, Tenley!)

(Happy birthday, Sofia! We love you!)

Until next time! :)
