Weekly Update

Our week was pretty uneventful as our allergy meds kicked in and we got back into the swing of things. The kids headed back to school; which quickly put their attitudes back in check! This week they are learning about zoo animals and reviewing letters, 'S', 'T', 'U', 'V', and 'W':

(Tenley said it was the Easter Bunny.)

Tenley and I took Pearly for a walk Tuesday morning and she legit giggled the whole time. Girlfriend loves her doggy:

Everly and Wesley were proud of their school art:

They took it easy the rest of the day...playing Power Rangers and playing with Pearl:

While Tenley reviewed at school Wednesday morning, the twins and I walked to the park and enjoyed the sunshine:

Wes hates drop-off (me too, bud). On Thursday he climbed up on my lap and begged me to keep him home. It's so hard saying no to him:

While Ev and Wes were at school, T and I had the whole park to ourselves:

Tenley made a giraffe at school on Friday; which she plans on turning into a party hat for Pearl's 13th birthday:

Pearl got groomed Friday morning and the kids missed her so much. So much so that they wouldn't let her out of their sight the rest of the day:

We celebrated Nora's 4th birthday at 'Bounce U' Saturday morning and the kids a blast:

(Happy birthday, sweet Nora!!)

While I worked, Ev napped the afternoon away:

Isla gave Tenley a trinket box full of drawings, pieces of paper and some change. Tenley loved the drawings and apparently there was "enough money for a trip to Disneyland!" Her and Ev kept screaming, "we're rich!!":

It was 88 on Sunday so we spent some time in the kiddie pool:

In other news, my best friend of 16 years is moving to Vegas! Her husband got a job offer here and now they're selling their house and starting over here! When she told me about her idea in February I didn't believe it, but it's actually happening! I obviously couldn't be more excited because we seriously have so much fun together (we've always said "we're from the same womb"), plus we get to make all these new memories with our families! This is truly going to be the best time of our lives and I couldn't be more excited for them to get here! As she was packing this week, she came across these gems; which got me even more jazzed:
(Sadie Hawkins Dance in 2001)

(Summer of 2005 [maybe?] on Pauly's boat.)

(My Senior pic with my handwritten and misspelled words...turns out we WILL be growing old together!)

Until next time! :)
