Weekly Update

I was beat from my quick work trip to Cali, but was excited to see the kids and give them their ring pops I picked up at a gas station on the way home. They were thrilled with their breakfast and pretended the rings were binkies:

The twins have been taking turns coming into our bed at night and Wes is such a bed hog, but gives the best wake-up hugs:

We spent Tuesday at The District with Amy and the crew. We had fun playing at the splash pad, shopping and having lunch with them:

Chef Everly helped me cook chicken and zucchini for dinner:

It finally rained for the entire morning on Wednesday and we loved it:

We spent the morning with the Holmes gang and Wes was in Superhero Heaven:

I made the most delicious and healthy stuffed peppers and they were so pretty, but Ev thought they smelled disgusting:

We ran our errands Thursday morning and took advantage of the overcast:

Poor Evie was so bummed it wasn't swim weather this week because she really wanted to go swimming at Pat's:

Tenley got some new dresses for school and when she tried them on she told me to film her so she could put it on YouTube (Ok, what?!):

Although our pictures from the week look easy-breezy, it was quite the opposite. The kids didn't want to listen to me for the life of them. Ev was the only one, as always, who listened to me. Thank God, for her sweet self:

The rain had us a bit stir-crazy so when we saw a glimpse of the sun we headed straight to the park:

(I'm right there with ya, Wes.)

We had to run to Target and Wes found a great deal...5 Marvel Superhero's for $14! He hit the jackpot and was so excited:

Saturday morning I attended a Empower Teacher class at the Las Vegas studio and it was ah-mazing. We were all dripping in sweat and lovin' it:

Saturday afternoon we went to Addy and Cam's birthday party at Flip N Out Xtreme and had a blast! The kids bounced and played for hours:

(Happy birthday, Addy and Cam!!)

Sunday morning I took class, taught class, then practiced for Empower and my body was aching- it hurts so good! I can't wait to teach this new class:

Ev finally woke up and looked cozy in her 'Polish Princess' shirt:

We had dinner plans with the Rices Sunday evening so Tenley and I baked them their favorite cookies (mine too, so score!) for dessert. Eventhough it's not Fall, you can never go wrong with Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies:

Until next time! :)
