Kasie's Bridal Shower

Kasie's wedding is almost here!!!!

Bethany, the lovely Maid of Honor, threw Kasie thee most beautiful bridal shower and all of her loved ones came to celebrate!

Bethany had her house set up so cute and had lots of delicious goodies:

We played "How Well Do You Know The Groom?":
(This was when Bethany asked what position the groom preferred... HAHAHA!!)

Kasie got showered with gifts:

Some really special gifts were...

Molly's present (all the way from Ohio) - framed wedding pics of the Cantors and Unertls:
(Molly was on FaceTime so she got to watch Kasie open it, too!)

A picture of where Jeremy proposed from her Mom:

I've never seen someone get so many gifts at a shower before... Kasie and Jer are set!

Court and Frannie made Kase this fancy bouquet out of all the ribbon:

We had some fun on the trampoline:

Bethany did such an amazing job! It was such a fun shower!

It's been such an honor of mine to have met Kasie 7 years ago. We've experienced so much together in those 7 years and I am so excited to be a part of her big day. She is such a great friend and just a great over all person in general. She always makes me laugh and we always have way too much fun together. She is going to be such a good wife and an amazing mother someday. I just know her and Jeremy are going to be together forever. She is always going to be his number one supporter and he is going to be cooking her dinner for the rest of their happy little lives. I love them both!

Love you, Kase!!

Bachelorette soon... watch out Vegassss!!!!

Weekly Update

Tenley has learned a super fun game while in her high chair this week...

We load up her tray with links, rattles, etc. to keep her entertained and she's learned that if she throws the toys Mommy or Daddy will pick them up. So she throws them quite frequently. Then when you put all her toys back she'll lift her hands as if she's saying, "It wasn't me!" She thinks it's funny. It's hilarious!

She's also discovered the Pooh mobile on her swing:

Lil' munch is growing fond of my Honey Bunny and melting my heart in the process:
(Side Note: Honey Bunny was my Dad's bunny and then Honey Bunny was always at my Grandma Betty's house for all the grandkids to "use", but I grew especially fond of him and would cuddle with him every time I slept over my Grandma's house. When my sweet, dear Grandma passed away it was the only thing I asked for. I ran into her house and begged that I be the one to get him. He still goes everywhere with me - he was even in the delivery room with me - and it's been my hope to pass it down to my baby some day.)

She even likes to read to Honey Bunny:

(The end left her wanting more!!)

Since we were eating Tacos, Daddy gave T a little taste of Avocado:

She started sitting up this week, but falls over after a few seconds:

We also celebrated our 9 year anniversary this week! Technically it's no longer our anniversary, but the day is so special to me so to celebrate T and I made Daddy these yummy cookies:

Then, we played outside when Daddy got home from work:
(I really don't think her thighs could get any chunkier!)

(Best 9 years. EVER. Love you, ED!!)

I got my first paycheck since I started working from home so I took T for a mini-shopping spree. She was in such a good mood from all the amazing things she got that we had a little photo shoot when we got home:

Then, Daddy read her one of her new books, 'Guess How Much I Love You':

(They're just the cutest!!)

I swear she grew so much this day! It's as if we went shopping and she turned into this big girl at night. After Ed read to her we were playing with her on her back and she just started rolling from her back - total milestone!! Stupid Mommy was holding up the video camera when she did it the second time and forgot to hit play, but don't worry she does it non-stop now so I got plenty! Video to come soon...

Baby celebrated St. Patty's day by sporting some green since she is a lil' bit Irish after all:

She ended the week goofin' off with Daddy and Pearl:

Until next week! :)

Weekly Update

I never thought I would want the occupation of a "Stay-at-Home Mom", but when my doctor placed Tenley on my chest my whole entire world changed. Everything turned into what was best for her and her well-being. I used to love going into my office everyday and was proud of how organized I was and definitely proud of my work because I knew I did a damn good job, but I loved my job as a mother first and foremost. Luckily, my bosses allowed me to set up an office at home and do my same job for them remotely. I started working from home this week. I'm easing myself back into slowly. So these weekly updates may get lack-luster or disappear all together depending on how much I can get done while Tenley is sleeping. After all, I need to sleep too, but I try to do this so everyone back in Ohio can watch Tenley grow up as much as possible so I will try my best to keep it up!

So here is what happened during this busy week...

The week started off with beautiful weather so Tenley, Pearl & I spent the afternoon outside:

(Look at those piggies!!)

T seemed to go through another growth spurt and looked like such a big kid before bathie time:

Speaking of big kid, this one LOVES books!! Just look at her turn the pages:

She's such a goof ball these days...
I left her for a second to get a water and this is what I came back to:

She's been lifting her head like a champ, too:

She's also been doing tummy time a lot and practicing rolling from her back, too:

(We'll keep practicing until she gets it down!)

Since Aunt Frannie had Friday off, she met us at the park for a little swing action:

Later that night, we took Tenley to Barnes & Noble since Ed has been wanting to buy Tenley 'The Lorax' and baby picked up another book, too - 'Oh, The Thinks You Can Think':
(I read her the 'Oh, The Thinks You Can Think' board book twice on the way home and she loved it... I'm going to have to buy them all now!)

We spent Saturday at the Lake Las Vegas Beer Walk.

Since Ed was jealous that I got to take Teddy to the park on Friday we took her again on Sunday!

She's a swingin' machine:

She even discovered that she loves to swing like Superman:

(Daddy stealing kisses!!)

She had fun on the slides with Daddy, too:

She had SO much fun that she instantly passed out in the car:

What a fun week... we're lovin' this weather!

Until next week! :)
