California Dreamin'

It's official...
I want to must live in California.

We went to Newport Beach, California a few weeks ago for a wedding and were only reminded of why we love California so much. What's not to love about it?

Molly came in from Ohio for Bethany's wedding so Eddie, Kasie, Molly and I drove to California early Friday morning and spent the day walking around on the beach and having fun.

Ed found a starfish, so we all took pictures with him.

On Saturday we went to Bethany and Tony's wedding on a yacht in the Newport Harbor - I like to say the word yacht because it makes me sound fancy. :) Their wedding was beautiful and we had so much fun! Congrats to them both!

Me and The Bridesmaids

On Sunday the four of us went to Huntington Beach to shop and enjoy our last day at the beach. There were so many surfers out in the water that you couldn't help but want to dive in!

Molly and I were on the shoreline picking up sea shells and got hit by a big wave - we got soaked! I felt like a little kid searching for shells... it was a blast!

HB Pier

Ed and I fell in love with Huntington Beach and did not want to leave. Ever since I got back to Vegas I've been looking for jobs and apartments in HB. Hopefully Ed and I could move to HB soon so that we can start learning how to surf. Ed will having to take swimming lessons first, of course! :)

Two Months

Today Eddie and I have been married for two months!

Marriage is an amazing thing because each and everyday I appreciate and love Eddie more and more. Right now I am so stressed because I work from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., go to school from 2:40 p.m. to 4:10 p.m., then go to Real Estate school from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.... Needless to say, by the time I get home I'M EXHAUSTED! Eddie has been so supportive and really helping me stay sane. I really don't know what I'd do without him in my life. He's the best.

Love ya, babe! :)

Tenny Boots

This Fourth of July was full of FUN and SUN!

Eddie and I went to Kasie's grandpa's house to hang out by the pool with some pretty amazing people. We brought ice cream cones filled with funfetti cake mix, topped with frosting... soo yummy! We also ate cheeseburgers, hot dogs and corn on the cob. I'd say it was a pretty good day!

We like to goof around.

We decided it would be fun to put a rope across the pool and try to jump over it. Accident-prone Eddie decided to do a belly flop over the rope and his whole side immediately welted up... so typical, Ed!

Then, I ran into the rope...

I made it over after a few trys!

We played volleyball and it went a little something like this...
girls rule, boys cheat!

CHEATERS

Then we went and saw fireworks!
[BEST show I've ever seen]

BEST PART OF THE DAY:
Kasie's Grandpa is HILARIOUS...

Here's what Kasie's grandpa said as we drove past the Senior Auquatic Center in Henderson...

The old ladies would be lined up in their tenny boots watching us old men play ball.

They'd say, "That old man let me play with his balls!"

Then I'd say, "Do you have any money in the bank?"

She'd say no...

Then I'd say... "Then its back to knittin'!"

What a funny man!
