Weekly Update

I forgot to post this video last week, but it's too funny not to share...watch what happens in the background as I'm trying to get Ev to take a step:

The twins and I had a good morning while sissy was off at school on Monday:

Evie Cakes played dress up in her Christmas bloomers and Santa hat from Grandma Cath and looked as adorable as ever:

(Thanks momma!!)

Tornado Tenley always takes over every time I attempt to get the twins taking steps on video:

Tenley and Wes cruised around on the Minnie Mouse ride along and Tenley kept squishing Wes' cheeks and had us cracking up:

(I can't even handle this picture.)

The twins played in the pack-n-play before bath time:

I ordered the twins their "First Christmas" ornaments last week and was so excited when I received them in the mail. These are definitely my favorites this year:

I was in charge of snacks this week at school; which I was pretty excited for since Wednesday was the holiday party. Turns out the parents prefer everything to be store bought though, so instead of baking some awesome Christmas goodies we went with the typical store bought Christmas sugar cookies and Tenley couldn't have been more excited about it:

When I picked her up from school she had this present and beautiful card that she made for Ed and I:

Somehow I managed to wait until Ed got home to open it! It is by far the best gift we've ever received and we'll for sure be leaving Santa's cookies on it this year:

I finally caught Wes taking a few steps on video:

Ev is absolutely dead to the world when Frozen is on. Girlfriend is obsessed. And who knew it could make you so exhausted, too:

Wednesday night we made our way to Ethel M's to see the cactus garden lit up for Christmas and the babies were absolutely fascinated, but Tenley said she, "jus like da purple lights":

Tenley has been obsessed with YouTube videos on how to do your hair like a Disney Princess so now she is constantly doing my hair and telling me to, "tilt your head down!":

Tenley was so excited for 'Christmas sock' day at dance and did so good at following Ms Cherity's instructions. Linds wasn't there so I didn't get too many good pics of her doing the routines since my hands were full, but I'm so proud of the progress she's making:

The twins took turns playing with their walker:

I made balsamic chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes and for some reason I thought it was a good idea to glob the mashed potatoes on their trays, but they sure enjoyed it:

We had a play date with our favorite set of twin gals, Lily and Liv, on Friday:
(Jess, I think that's Lily?!)

You'd think that play date would've tired my kiddos out, but no...we came home to play some more:

Wes is obsessed with making this funny new face:

My mother-in-law mailed us Christmas cookies and Tenley dug right in:

I tried getting Evie to walk to a sugar cookie, but she just stood there looking adorable:

Tenley still had to make up a dance class from when she was sick and since Isla just missed Thursday's class we brought the girls to Saturday's 'Red & Green' class. The girls were kind of all over the place since they didn't know any of the girls, but they sure did have a lot of fun:

After dance class, we headed to the Bellagio to see the Christmas Conservatory and the kids loved it! The babies loved the snow and the flowers, while Tenley was fascinated with the train again this year:

The kids opened their Christmas gifts from Great Grammy Sophie early so that they could use them to cook with on Christmas Eve:

She also sent us cookies and Tenley broke into those while playing with her new goodies:
(Thanks so much, Grammy!! We love you!!)

We went Christmas light-seeing and saw some really pretty ones:

Ed made us French toast for breakfast Sunday morning and the twins loved it:

While Ed went to get a haircut and Ev napped, Tenley, Wes and I watched 'Frosty the Snowman' on the couch:

When Ev woke up she goofed off with brother and they had so much fun together all day. Their bond gets stronger and stronger everyday:

What a busy week! Next week is Christmas...the twins first Christmas (and Tenley's fourth)!!

Until next time! :)
