The twins kicked me out of the bed early Monday morning so that they could snuggle. I mean, these two are just too much with their hand grazing adorableness:
Since Tenley was on Winter Break, Isla came over on Monday to play and, of course, they played dress-up:
On Tuesday, I woke up super early with the babes and while they played with Thomas I worked on cleaning the play room...getting rid of some "baby" toys, organizing the closet and the new space that opened up. I couldn't be more happy with the clutter-free outcome:
(Sadly, this only lasted for seconds!!)
Once I finished cleaning, I loaded up the kiddos and headed to Karina's for a much needed Venturino play date. We haven't been there forever and the kids had such a blast playing together:
Tenley and Wesley relaxed and napped when we got home, but Evie Cakes was raring to go:
Ed had to work until noon on New Years Eve, so the kids and I had a low-key morning, per usual. Wes woke up super early and played with one of his favorite toys- his dump truck (like father, like son):
The forecast was calling for snow on NYE and Tenley was super stoked for it! She had been talking about how she was going to go ice skating when it snowed for a week now. She finally woke up to some snow flurries on NYE and although you could hardly see it floating in the air and collected on the slide, she was so unbelievably excited! She kept saying, "I think Elsa doing dat, mommy!" It was so cute and we had fun sitting inside watching the snow fall together while the babes took a morning nap:
She still thinks it's Christmas and insisted on decorating cupcakes for Baby Jesus:
We didn't do much for NYE, but we did get pretty rowdy at night and by that I mean the Moose Man came into our bed and decided to party until 11:30am (we almost made it!!):
After a long night of no sleep, Ed made us blueberry pancakes for breakfast to give us all a boost:
After breakfast, we celebrated the New Year with some noise makers and confetti poppers. Tenley loved the noise makers while the twins liked to eat the cardboard and watch Tenley dance. I can't believe this is my babies last 'first' holiday! Here's to hoping 2015 is as blessed as 2014 was:
All that partying really exhausted Ev:
However, Princess Tenley never tires and kept dancing the day away:
Wes was walking everywhere and thought it was the funniest thing ever:
I hardly ever take pictures of Tenley on her iPad because there is absolutely no point, but she has gotten obsessed with YouTube over Winter Break and it is driving Ed and I nuts! All she wants to watch now are these weird YouTube videos instead of her learning apps:
Needless to say, I only took a picture to document that the iPad will magically "break" until we can figure out a better solution to this obsession. In our opinion, she only needs it for traveling or school, so wish us luck!!
The kids played in the play hut so nicely and melted my heart:
Usually Ed gives the twins their bath, but I gave them a bath Friday night and oh my gosh! these little boogers are so active in the tub! I was so soaked that it looked like I was sitting in the 'Splash Zone' at Sea World:
Wes discovered his Daddy's wooden rocking horse in his room:
The twins looked adorable while playing in the playroom:
Evie held on for dear life while Wes had too much fun pushing sissy on her Frozen ride-on:
Tenley was all dressed up on Saturday and looked so grown up:
While Ev napped, the kids and I watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse:
When Tenley found out that Isla was really sick she asked if we could send her silly pictures and I couldn't say no:
Chelsea and Elle were in town from Denver so they came over to visit and we were so excited to see them! The babies got to cuddle with Auntie Chels, chowed down on some din din, then the kids filled our house with the sweetest laughter that made it so hard to say goodbye to them:
(Miss you guys already!!)
Saturday night was Ev's night to stay up and party with us:
Since the babies ripped all of the blinds off the back sliding door we bought curtains for it and Wes loves to play peek-a-boo with them:
He also helped me carry Daddy's clean work clothes (yes, those are clean) to the living room so I can fold them and Daddy put his shirt on Wes:
Until next time! :)
