Chelsea came to visit from Denver so while Tenley was in school the twins and I went to breakfast with her. We had so much fun talking about everything from our crazy kids, our hair-dos and my weird belly button. I'm going to miss having breakfast and belly laughs with this babe whenever I want, she sure has a way of making me laugh like no one else:
(Miss you so much, Chels!! Love ya, muffin!!)
Wes looked like such a big boy while getting ready for bed:
On Tuesday morning I noticed that the Troy James website launched and the twins are on their infant page:
The kids watched the Cavs game while I went and got my hair chopped and colored:
I came home, watched the Cavs win and got the squishiest cuddles from my kiddos:
(Ok, Wes totally looks like me in this picture!)
A while ago I found out that Tenley's school program was while we were going to be in Disneyland and I was so devastated. Luckily, her teacher is an absolute angel and knew I was heartbroken so she invited our family to watch the kids practice. I was so excited to see Tenley perform that it was torturous to drop her off and go home, but Ev kept me entertained with her adorableness in the meantime:
Lindsay and the girls wanted to come watch Tenley so she met us at T's school. Tenley was so excited when we showed up to watch them perform. When we walked in Mrs. Marsha and the kids had chairs set up for "their audience" and Mrs. Marsha had Tenley introduce us to her classmates. She was so sweet introducing us and was so excited to show off for us:
Their Program was called "I Think I Can" and had the cutest trains since they made alphabet trains all year and it was just the cutest thing. They started off with showing that they knew the days of the week:
They did the macarena to the months of the year:
They showed off their shape skills:
Tenley has been mumbling "top, bottom, shake it in the middle" for weeks so when I got to see her sing the song I was so excited and it was my favorite song they sang:
They also did a really cute animal song and a song about building a house:
I had to leave the room because Ev was fussing so I missed a few songs. When I came back I was completely amazed to hear that they were going to sign the alphabet. Tenley never told me that she learned sign language at school so I was in total shock. So shocked that I forgot to film her doing it until the end when she started to get distracted by Evie moving around:
Then we got to see all the car trains they made, listen to the train story and songs that went with it. It was great to see Tenley in her element with her classmates and all the day care kids. It was especially nice to see all the progress she has made throughout the year. The Tenley that started at Mrs. Marsha's Mini School is definitely not the same Tenley that I saw practicing for her program. I'm so proud of her and extremely excited that I was able to get her registered for 3 days next year. Mrs. Marsha has brought on a Spanish teacher so I can only imagine how much she'll learn next year. We're SOOO proud of you, Tenley Bear!!
I had a really rough time getting the twins down for a nap on Thursday, but program practice on Wednesday must've really tired Tenley out because she napped for a good 5 minutes. Like, I managed to pee, make coffee, sit down, then she woke up:
The twins didn't want to nap on Friday either and Ev was cracking me up with her silly faces:
Since naps weren't happening we decided to start packing accessories for our Disneyland trip and the girls made sure Wes felt included:
Tenley danced her little tushy off, while the babes (and adults) loved on Sailor:
After dance my mom and in-laws finally arrived for our Disneyland trip! The kids were so excited to see their grandparents. They played and opened presents before passing out for long naps:
My in-laws left for Cali early with my brother-in-law's family while we stayed behind, as planned. We spent the rest of our Saturday packing; which took forever with 3 kids constantly in the way, but they sure had fun "helping":
We were in the car at 4:45am on Sunday and unfortunately our kids were never great at transferring to or from their car seats so they were ready to party. Then, they all fell asleep when we were 20 minutes from the beach:
We spent Sunday morning at the beach and the afternoon/night at Disneyland; it was definitely a Sunday Funday I'll never forget!
Stay tuned for more pics from Disneyland...
