Monday at school Tenley got to make her 'D' train, since they were busy with Picture Day last week, and she also practiced tracing quite beautifully:
When she got home, she adamantly told me how she missed her best friend:
Once she was finally done smothering Evie in kisses, the babies did some exploring in the kitchen while I tried catching them saying Mama or Dada on video:
Ed brought me home flowers after work to apologize for "accidentally" setting his second alarm (the one that sounds like an ambulance) between the babies while in a snoozing stupor; which woke both babies up at, oh I don't know, 5:30am. The one day they're actually sleeping peacefully in bed with me. He's lucky I had a good day and that these were very pretty:
Ed usually gives the twins a bath while I clean dishes, pick up toys and get the kids rooms ready for bed, but some days I have my stuff in order and get to be apart of bath time and those are the best days because seeing these two crawl around in the tub naked together is the cutest and funniest thing ever. I can't get enough of these bath time cuties:
Tenley was super excited for Tuesday because it was the release day for 'Sleeping Beauty'. We were feeling all sorts of nostalgia so the kids sported their Disney gear to go to Target where we discovered the greatest invention ever- the 3 seater bus (a life saver for twin moms)! I had so much fun pushing them around the aisles:
After our Target run, Tenley was glued to the couch while the babes played with their toys and took turns on the Minnie Mouse car:
My littlest pumpkins turned 9 months old on Wednesday:
When Tenley got done with school on Wednesday we met some friends at the pumpkin patch. We met a friend of mine, Lauren, who I actually graduated high school with! She also married her Cardinal Mooney high school sweetheart, lives in Vegas and has a little baby boy. It was so great to finally meet up with her! She also brought her friend Brette, who brought her adorable daughter Mackenzie and then Maryann came with her sweet mother-in-law and that stud CJ. The weather forecast lied because it was anything, but cloudy- it was a scorcher. We had such a blast:
The kids got packages from Grammy and Pop-Pop and Tenley was so excited about the stuffed additions to her Hallmark collection of Princesses and Superheros:
(Thanks, Grammy and Pop-Pop!! Love you!!)
Ev took an early nap Thursday morning and was passssssed out:
Ever since I took Tenley in front of the house to take a picture for her first day of preschool, she always insists on going "ow front for pic-a-tures" now. So before heading to the park on Thursday we did just that and she looked as cute as can be:
We met Lindsay and Isla at Hemenway Park in Boulder City. The kids had so much fun on the play ground and kept spotting the sheep and waving to them every time they'd come by. This is one of my favorite parks because you just can't beat the scenery:
I made homemade pasta and meatballs for dinner so we cut up some noodles for the babes and they seemed to like it:
While out running errands the twins tried on some cool pumpkin shades:
Friday was essentially nap-free so we spent most of our time playing:
Tenley woke up stuffy on Friday (maybe allergies?) and insisted on dressing up as Doc McStuffins and giving everyone check-ups:
We took Tenley to Party City to let her pick out decorations for her upcoming birthday party and she had fun in the costume section:
We braved Costco with all 3 kiddos Sunday morning and scored Wes this awesome 'Dusty' plane:
Poor Evie started to get stuffy, too:
Seems like it's more than just allergies because Wes caught it, too! Hopefully it'll pass quickly.
I'll keep you posted...
