Weekly Update

Since the kids were stuffy, Tenley stayed home from school on Monday so we spent the day relaxin' and playing:

We did the exact same thing on Tuesday:

Since Tenley was feeling better on Wednesday she went to school and came home singing the 'Humpty Dumpty' nursery rhyme. Then she showed me the 'Humpty Dumpty' craft she made and the 'E' car she made to add to her train:

Tenley wanted to be like Mommy and try mustard on her ham "schwammie" for lunch; which she thinks is spicy, but I just can not focus because of how cute she says sandwich:

After lunch Tenley was a ball of energy and got dressed-up like a whack-a-doo:

Tenley was asking for her latest obsession...chocolate and vanilla ice cream with "prinkles". Since she was feeling better we decided to treat her and girlfriend was in her glory:

Thursday morning the kids went from being better to being sick, again. Ughhhh, what the heck!! What gives?! The only thing that got me through all the nose suctioning and being sneezed on all day was dressing all three of them in matching jammies. It was next to impossible not to smile all day with them looking so dang cute:

The 'Happy Camper' jammies weren't "princey" enough for Tenley so she changed back into her Princess nightgown so she could "lax" on the couch with her friends while I nursed Ev to sleep and rocked Wes to sleep:

While brother and sister napped, Tenley and I worked on the craft she missed at school on Monday- an Eskimo for the letter 'E':

The kids and I took Pearl to the Groomer Friday morning and Pearl sat in the back with Tenley. She started to cry when she sensed that we were close and Tenley said, "Mommy, Pearl cryin'. Pearl cryin', Momma," and I explained, "Pearl's crying because she doesn't want to get her hair cut," and Tenley said, "Aunt Jewie cut my hair. Pearl no cry. It be kay, Pearl." She sure loves Pearl (and her Aunt Jewie):

Tenley played peek-a-boo with Wes under the kitchen table:

Ed had rocks delivered to the house and filled in some spots around the yard that were low on Saturday morning. The kids sure missed horsing around with their fun Daddy and anticipated his every move:

I went to Target and brought Tenley home some Halloween Oreos:
(Don't worry she doesn't always eat junk...she's been getting goodies since it's almost her birthday; which she thinks is everyday!)

Tenley has been wanting to go see the 'Book of Life', but since she was sick we decided to wait a week or so. Instead she insisted I buy her the new 'Mr. Peabody & Sherman' movie. It just so happened to come with these awesome glasses and bow tie that looked absolutely adorable on Wes:

Sofia turned 3 on the 16th and was having an 'Alice in Wonderland' themed party on Sunday to celebrate. Tenley had been looking forward to her "Alice in Woowawand" party alllllll week, but since the kids were at the tail end of being sick I didn't want to bring them and risk getting the other kids sick (especially 5 week old Lorelai). Although the kids couldn't go, there was no way I was going to miss the party. Plus, I had to bring the super cute gift Tenley and I picked out for the Princess. Since Sofia loves Frozen, I ordered her this adorable Elsa & Anna chunky bugglegum necklace and bracelet, then Tenley picked out a matching Elsa & Anna jewelry box for it- Sofia loved it! I had so much fun hanging out with my friends, their kiddos and most importantly the beautiful birthday girl:
(She loved the jewelry box T picked out!)

(Happy third birthday, Sofia!! We love you!!)

When I got home, I put the twins down for a nap and decided to clean the house. First order of business was to clean the couch; which turned into a very fun jumping game for Tenley:

The twins even got in on the action when they woke up:

Bath time has gotten real interesting and there is always someone trying to bail:

The Medrano's are in Disneyland this weekend (jealous, right?!) and Lyndsey texted me the sweetest picture ever:

Tenley is going to freak (and think she's going to Disneyland)!! I can't believe she'll be 3 in a week. I'll officially have a 3 year old on my next 'Weekly Update'. Ahhh!

Until next time! :)
