We took a break from Princesses for a minute and got scary in honor of All Hallows Eve. Ok, not too scary because let's be honest my lil' monsters, Sulley (x2) and Mike Wazowski, were too cute to spook anyone:
After the kids were dressed, photographed together and ready for candy (which they absolutely needed, duh), we headed to the Rice's Halloween party; which Linds "kept simple", but still managed for it to be so amazing because she's the best party planner I know (especially for a pregnant lady):
Everyone chowed down on the frightfully delicious good food and most importantly enjoyed each others company:
While we were piggin' out, The Rices got a surprise knock on the door and it was none other than Mickey Mouse himself! The kids were shocked and a little scared at first. Tenley was waving from a distance and took a while to warm up to him, but the twins weren't phased a bit:
(Nora was the only one who was all about Mickey from the get go!)
Then, it was finally time to go trick-or-treating!! We were so excited because Tenley had been talking about it all week, but after the first house she was terrified because the houses looked "spooky" and in her defense the next house we went to was a "haunted house". Needless to say, she made her Daddy carry her until the very end, but we still had a blast walking around with our friends and family:
(This was the highlight of my night because when this man opened his door the inside of his house was decorated with orange lights and Tenley freaked out and started yelling, "I NEED TO GO IN THAT HOUSE!! I NEED to, Daddy!!" She was kicking and screaming because she wanted/needed to go in this strangers house. It was hilarious, but at the same time I will definitely be having the "Stranger-Danger" talk with her!! ASAP)
At our second to last house of the night, Tenley decided she was finally okay to walk and hang with her girlfriends:
Thanks for hosting this awesome night and inviting my family Linds and Mase! You know we always have so much fun with you guys (and your entire fam)!
We had such an ah-mazing Halloween with our lil' monsters. It's hard to believe this was the twins first Halloween and Tenley's fourth! My, oh my, how quickly the time flies. Hope you all had a spooktacular holiday!
Happy Halloween!!
