Weekly Update

I made Tenley her favorite breakfast before school- scrambled eggs and ham. The babies were practically begging for some and since we can never get them to eat baby food I said, "heck with it!" and guess what?! They loved it:

After a delicious breakfast, my little diva was ready for school and it was finally cold enough to break out her Ugg boots:

This week Tenley is learning about the letter 'H' and 'Fall' and she came home with this beautiful masterpiece of Handprint Turkeys:

She must've really missed Ev, too, because she wouldn't stop giving her hugs:

The kids played nice for a bit while I tried to get dinner ready before Ed got home from work...until Ev decided to try to rip off Wes' pants:

Linds and Isla came over and we all had so much fun, as always. Linds and I entertained the babies, while the girls transformed into Elsas and entertained us all:

Dress-up and play time didn't stop after Isla left:

Tenley helped Evie snack on some puffs before school:

On Wednesday, Tenley made her 'G' and H' train since she was trick-or-treating at the senior center last week and didn't get to do the 'G':

After school, we went to Target and for once we found a "bus" in the parking lot so we didn't have to get in a cart to get into a bus once we got into the store. Tenley chose to not sit in her designated seat because she wanted to be closer to brudder and sista:

All three kiddos also had their well-checks (3 year and 10 month) Wednesday afternoon:

Tenley weighed 36 pounds (90%) and was a whopping 41 inches tall (97%); which is almost tall enough to ride all of the rides at Disneyland! Dr. Vu said Tenley is speaking very well for her age and doing great. She was Dr. Vu's helper and was cracking us up...using his "deckagope" and "solving really tough cases!" While listening to her chest he noticed some congestion so he put her on a decongestant to make her good as new quicker. Next up was Ev, the tiniest on our team at 18 pounds and 28 and a half inches tall. She surpassed all of her milestones, the only thing is that she has a nasty eye infection. Last, but not least was the Moose Man. He almost weighed 23 pounds and was 31 inches tall! I couldn't believe how much he grew. He also had congestion in his chest so Dr. Vu gave him the decongestant, as well. The babies cried during their shots, but quickly recovered after kisses from Tenley.

For breakfast on Thursday morning, Tenley and I ate this delicious banana bread that Karina brought to us:
(Thanks, Karina!! It was delish!)

It's finally blanket weather in Vegas and the twins slept peacefully under their blankies while Tenley and I cuddled on the couch:

Isla has been in a mommy and me dance class at The Rec Center for a few weeks now and has really enjoyed it. Linds wanted to enroll her in a class by herself, but was worried about her being by herself since she's so shy so she found a studio that allowed 2 and 3 year olds in the same class so that Isla and Tenley could go together. So I got the kiddos ready so I could go enroll Tenley for class next week. Obviously I'm biased, but I think they looked so dang cute:

(Thanks for Ev's adorable vest and hat, mom!!)

Tenley absolutely loved the studio. She was behind the desk helping Jane, they were dressing her up, showing her the rooms and she was checking herself out. I mean, girlfriend was in her element:

Tenley got new dance clothes and, of course, she had to try them on. I couldn't get a good picture of her because she kept dancing and saying, "I need to twirl!":

The babes slept in and looked sweeter than ever:

Wes learned to say "no, no, no" and it is so, so cute:

The kids wore hats around the house:

It's a nightly tradition for the kids to pile up on our bed before bed time and roll around and giggle. It's definitely one of my favorite times of day:

The twins turned 10 months old!!

Saturdays are Tenley's favorite because she gets to be silly with Daddy:

We went to The District for lunch and shopping:

Saturday night I came down with a fever, migraine and cold. Thankfully Ed volunteered to bake the chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter truffle cookies that I was supposed to bake for Lindsay's shower because I could not function and I didn't want to be responsible for getting anyone sick (especially the pregnant chick!).

Luckily, I woke up feeling better Sunday and was just stuffy. It was a beautiful day and an amazing shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Sailor Rose!

Until next time! :)
