This week Tenley learned about the letter 'F' at school and since Halloween is right around the corner she made the cutest Frankenstein:
She also got her first school picture back and they are absolutely adorable:
I'm not sure how they got her to sit still and be so sweet in the pictures, but we were so stunned. I had to instantly text Ed the picture when I got home and he was so shocked:
It was a beautiful day, so after lunch we played outside. Tenley was sleepy from school and being crabby so I snapped a bajillion pictures of the babies since they looked so stunningly cute:
The kids were being so silly Tuesday morning and played so nicely together:
Tenley has become so independent and even goes potty and washes her hands by herself, but that still doesn't mean that she does it all perfectly by herself every time. While I was changing the twins diapers, Tenley went potty and washed her hands, then decided to put the hand soap all over her sensitive face causing it to break out in hives instantly:
Thankfully she took some Benadryl and it went away quickly!!
My mother-in-law bought Tenley these adorable pumpkin butt bloomers, but she was too chunky to wear them. Lucky for us, Evie's teeny booty fit perfectly in them and they looked perfect with her personalized "Evie Cakes" top knot:
While Tenley was at school on Wednesday, Evie napped in her crib while Wes was only content napping in the ergo:
When T got home she helped me get ready for her birthday party by mog podging her Princess pictures onto cardboard; which lasted about 5 minutes because she prefers playing dress-up over anything:
I also kept the twins busy in their bouncers with a tray of puffs, until Wessie Boy wanted to play dress-up, too:
The twins were semi-matching and over-the-top adorable:
We finally got our fireplace enclosed since the babies like to climb in there, knock the logs out and impale themselves. It looks great and even the kids approve:
I took all three kids to our favorite store, Target, to finish shopping for the party and we were there for 2 hours because we were goofing off too much:
Tenley found her stash of presents from family members in Ohio and instantly fell in love with the Hello Kitty slippers from her great Aunt Jewie and had to put them on right away:
(Thanks, Aunt Jewie!!)
Moose Man was too excited to see Grammy and Pop-Pop and didn't want to nap before Tenley's party so he played with Grammy and Pop-Pop in the backyard:
We celebrated Princess Tenley's birthday Saturday afternoon and it was such a blast! Thanks again to everyone who made the day so special!
The Princess actually turned three on Sunday and was so excited about her birthday that she had to wear her special dress and wig that Lindsay made her:
(Thanks again, Linds!!)
Tenley opened up loads of dress-up presents from Grammy and Pop-Pop:
(Thanks guys!!)
Wes waved to Grammy from across the room (and I bet he melted her heart in the process):
All that waving really tired Wessie out:
Once the twins woke up from their naps, we headed to the pumpkin patch with Grammy and Pop-Pop:
That night we got take-out from Tenley's favorite restaurant, Lucille's Barbecue (girlfriend loves their BBQ chicken and creamy mac 'n cheese). Then, of course, she wanted us to sing to her "with a ye-wow number tree candow":
We told her to make a wish when she blew out her candle and when she was done we asked what she wished for and she exclaimed, "to blow out me candow!" Stay young forever, sweetie!
Until next time! :)
