I got the kids ready to run errands, but Tenley had a case of the Monday's and refused to do anything other than swing on the swing set while Ev and Wes played in the yard:
Since I switched the day of Tenley's dance class awhile ago she ended up getting 2 recital costumes. I wasn't upset about having to buy two costumes because I knew she would get her use out of the second as a dress-up costume. When she put on Thursday's class costume I couldn't believe how tall and old she looked. She is such a stunning threenager:
The Venturino gals came over Tuesday morning and all the playing outside really exhausted the twins:
After naps Ev got in some exercise by pushing around her bro in their baby doll's stroller:
I went to Lindsay's Wednesday afternoon with Tenley while Ed watched the twins. The girls played dress-up and watched Sailor while Linds and I cut fabric to make all the girls Cavs skirts:
The twins were being goofballs on Thursday and looked so adorable:
We went to the Rice's in the morning so I could finish up sewing the girl's skirts while the kids played with Lind's mom, Sandi. The kid's had a blast, per usual, and the skirts came out adorable:
Unfortunately, the Cavs lost game 1 so we drowned our sorrows in Donuts since Friday was National Donut Day after all. The line was out the door at Krispy Kreme so I kept the twins in the stroller while the girls watched the donuts being glazed before they all got to smash on some donuts:
The kids looked so cute as we headed out the door Friday afternoon:
Vans released their new Disney line Friday and they were selling like hot cakes so we went to the mall and scooped up some Minnie, Mickey, Princess and the kids new fav Winnie the Pooh kicks before they sold out:
(We're kind of obsessed with shoes.)
Wes hung out with Daddy Saturday morning:
Tenley had a really good dance class on Saturday. We learn something new about their recital each Saturday and we're getting so excited. Tickets are purchased and we have a little over a month to go before these little ballerinas take the stage:
After researching what pools we could take the kids to, we decided to buy season passes to Cowabunga Bay since going twice would pay for it anyways (and they sell dole whips and churros). Plus, Lindsay's dad got us hooked up with his MGM discount (thanks, Lou!!) so it was a no brainer! The kids had so much fun in the kid's area and they all had fun going down the water slides. Dummy me forgot the kids floaties so next time we'll be more prepared and could explore the lazy river and take turns going on the big slides. I foresee us going here all the time this summer, even just to run in and get those delicious dole whips:
Wes cuddled with his babies Sunday morning and totally melted my heart:
Tenley and I made cream cheese/sugar/graham cracker/chocolate chip stuffed strawberries for the Cavs game:
I tried getting a pic of the kids in their Cavs gear before we left for the Rices and it wasn't happening, but some of the pictures I got are so funny:
(BEST. PIC. EVER.)
The kids played while we watched the game, then got really into the game during overtime and started screaming (and hitting walls) with us:
What a great week!! Go Cavs!!
Until next time! :)
