We spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at The Happiest Place on Earth.
After seeing everything we wanted to see at Disneyland we headed to the 2nd Happiest Place on Earth in Cali...Chick-fil-a! We all filled up before our long ride home. Wes and Tenley fell right to sleep, but Ev stayed up the entire ride home since she already napped:
Thursday was May 21st- our 5 year Wedding Anniversary! We treated ourselves to a fancy date night at Giada and documented the occasion with a picture beforehand. Of course, Tenley wanted to be "in our annibersary":
The restaurant was gorgeous and had a fun photo booth while we waited for our table:
We chose Giada's tasting menu so we got an appetizer sampler, pastas, salmon and filet entrees, and we each got to chose 3 deserts. Then to top it off they brought us 2 more deserts for our anniversary. I tried everything, even things I would've never ate before (like bacon wrapped dates; which may be my new fav!) and it was all to die for. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were just as good:
We met this adorable couple who was celebrating their 10 year anniversary and were pregnant with their 4th baby! We chatted about life a little and snapped each other pics with our anniversary plates:
We were all still recovering from Disneyland around here, but Ev decided to wake up at 5:30am and fall back to sleep before anyone else even woke up:
We had all of our families and the Rices over for Pizza to watch the Cavs game Friday night. They won and the girls celebrated by playing football:
The twins were being sleepy heads Saturday and still sleeping when we needed to leave for T's dance class so Tenley and I met my mom, Grammy & Pop Pop at Dance. Since I didn't have to chase after the twins, I got to snuggle Sailor while T practiced her recital. Tenley also got her recital costume and the girls tried them on and met the older girls who will help them backstage on the night of the recital:
After dance class, we walked to McCullough Vista Park to meet my niece:
Tenley and Pop Pop were exhausted after the park:
Our family left Sunday afternoon and we were all so sad to see them go. It's always the hardest on Tenley because she doesn't understand why they can't just come over tomorrow so she just gets heartbroken when she hears a car outside and it's not them. I hate to see her sad like that and hate to say goodbye to our amazing families, but the memories we made this time were absolutely priceless! We're already looking for to see each of you again!! Love you all!
It was back to reality for us and back to running errands, but these kids love Costco trips when samples are involved:

It was by far our best anniversary and I can't wait to see how we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary!! Love you, Ed!!

Before we headed out the door for dinner the kids loved on Pearl:
Wes cooled off in the splash pad at The District after dinner, but was a little too cool so we had to go buy him a new shirt. Boys will be boys:
